本週我們來學習與派對規劃相關的詞彙
1. overboard /əʊvəbɔːd/
adv. 向舷外
常用搭配：go overboard with 做得過分或過火
e.g. They went overboard with the party preparation.
e.g. I told her just to cook a simple meal but she went completely overboard.
e.g. She went overboard with the decorations.
2. venue/venjuː/
n. 事件或活動的發生地,舉辦地點;場地
e.g. Before booking a party venue, we checked its capacity to ensure it could comfortably fit all our guests.
e.g. A ballroom was chosen as the venue for the gala, giving the event a luxurious and formal ambiance.
補充：gala n. 慶典；演出
ambiance n. 氣氛；格調
搭配補充：dress the venue 佈置場地
e.g. They dressed the venue with twinkling lights and flowers for the wedding reception.
3. inhibited /ɪnˈhɪbɪtɪd/
adj. 拘謹的，受抑制的
e.g. She felt inhibited at the party, barely joining the conversations and sticking close to the people she knew.
e.g. Feeling inhibited at the party, she stayed by the food table, unsure of how to mingle with the other guests.
補充：mingle with 與…交際
antonym: uninhibited 無拘無束的
e.g. Shes very uninhibited and is always the life of the party.
e.g. She’s usually reserved, but the music made her feel uninhibited, and she danced the whole night.

4. party favor /pɑːtɪ//ˈfeivə/
n. (聚會上派發的)小禮物
e.g. Everyone at the wedding received a small party favor, a personalized candle, as a token of appreciation.
e.g. Party favors are a great way to show your guests that you appreciate them attending your event.
