本週我們來學習與家用電器和裝置相關的詞彙
1. gadget/gædʒɪt/
n. 小器具；精巧的小玩意
e.g. The building is full of electronic gadgets for controlling the lighting and the temperature.
e.g. This handy gadget tells you when the meat is cooked.
補充：handy有用的;方便的
2. frill /ˈfrɪl/
n. 無用的裝飾；多餘的東西
e.g. He prefers a hotel room without frills—just the essentials.
e.g. Let’s cut the frills and focus on getting the project done.
搭配補充：
no-frills (日用品、電器、交通工具等)實用型的，不帶任何多餘裝飾的
e.g. This no-frills vacuum cleaner does the job without any unnecessary attachments or gadgets.
e.g. I love my no-frills washing machine—its simple, reliable, and gets the laundry done without any hassle.
補充：hassle n. 麻煩;困難
3. high-end /ˈhaɪˈɛnd/
adj. 尤指電子產品最高檔的，高階的，昂貴的
e.g. Their high-end refrigerator comes with a built-in coffee maker, touch-screen interface, and voice control."
e.g. The high-end oven comes with a built-in air fryer, allowing you to cook crispy meals without extra oil.
補充：build-in 內建的；嵌入式的

4. cumbersome /kʌmbəs(ə)m/
adj. 笨重的；難以攜帶的
e.g. This cumbersome washing machine takes up too much space in the laundry room.
e.g. A cumbersome computer is now a thing of the past.
補充：a thing of the past 成為過去了。
adj. 煩瑣的；複雜的
e.g. The old printer is cumbersome to set up, and it jams frequently.
補充：jam v. 機器卡住；不能運轉
5. feature-rich /ˈfiːtʃər rɪtʃ/
adj. 多功能的；功能豐富的
e.g. The feature-rich app allows users to customize notifications, track their fitness progress, and sync with other devices
e.g. The feature-rich laptop comes with a touch screen, powerful processor, and long battery life, while the budget version is a no bells and whistles model, perfect for simple tasks like browsing and word processing.
