官方報道，2025年春運從1月14日開始，到2月22日結束，共計40天。其中2025年春節假期時間為1月28日（除夕）至2月4日（正月初七），共8天。
交通部門預測，全社會跨區域人員流動量將達90億人次，預計創歷史新高。
接下來，又到了學習英文的時間了，你知道春運的英文該怎麼說嗎？
關於“春運”最常用、最地道的表達是：Spring Festival travel rush，或者spring rush。rush這裡是“高峰期、繁忙活動期”的意思。
又稱“年度全球最大規模的人口流動”（the largest annual human migration in the world）。是客流高峰期（peak time for passenger transport），有大批農民工（migrant workers）和學生黨在這一段時間返鄉。
另外，“春運”是一個十分具有中國特色的表達，所以直接說Chunyun、Chunyun time和the Chunyun period也都是可以的。

reunion

“reunion” 在英語中通常指 團圓 或 重聚。它描述的是一群人，通常是家人、朋友或同學，在分開一段時間後再次聚在一起的活動或狀態。

The Global Times noticed that the train was adorned with traditional decorations like paper-cuts, Chinese knots and ribbons, and a red banner "homecomingis the essence of Chinese Lunar New Year" was displayed in one of the train coaches, infusing the reunion journey with warmth and a holiday cheer.
據《環球時報》觀察，這列火車裝飾了傳統的窗花、中國結和綵帶，其中一節車廂內還掛著一條寫有“回家是春節的意義”的紅色橫幅，為歸鄉旅途增添了溫馨和節日的喜慶氣氛。
“homecoming” 在英語中通常是美國中學或大學舉辦的一項傳統活動，旨在讓畢業生回到學校，與老師和同學重聚。返校日通常會舉辦舞會、體育比賽等活動，營造熱鬧的氣氛。
例句：The homecoming game is always a big deal at our school.（我們的學校返校節的比賽總是很盛大。）
除了返校日，homecoming 還可以指：迴歸故鄉: 指一個人回到自己出生或成長的地方。重聚: 指一家人或朋友在分開一段時間後重新聚在一起。

The Global Times also learned from staff members that this year, a range of cutting-edge technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, smart system and facial recognition have been widely applied to facilitate a variety of processes during chunyun, including ticket sales,security checkas well as station entry and exit.

預計今年春運期間鐵路客運量將超過 5.1 億人次，日均 1275 萬人次，同比增長 5.5%。
"passenger volume" 指的是乘客數量或客運量，通常用於描述在一定時間內，某個交通工具（如飛機、火車、公共汽車等）或交通樞紐（如機場、車站等）接待的乘客總量。這個概念通常用來衡量運輸系統或交通網路的繁忙程度。
